Here we have a variant of the Oglebay Norton ball cap, this one instead of saying Oglebay Norton Marine Services on the back, it was embroidered for the Steamship Buckeye which had just come back out in 2004 after being in layup for a while. It however grounded later that season and was subsequently put back into layup and sold and converted to a barge in 2006. This is a rare hat and only a handful were made. We have two of these, so keep an eye out for the next one in a later auction.
