After a few months of things being slow due to the holidays, new years, and work things are finally starting to kick back into gear here at the Great Lakes Steamship Society, and it started off wonderfully tonight with a feature done by Jason Davis on the Twin Cities local news station KSTP 5 Eyewitness news. They interviewed founder Steve Haverty and took a few minutes of footage dockside at the JB Ford. Jason and the team did a wonderful job of putting together a interesting story, and in few words managed to capture alot of the reasons we want to save the Ford. Remember, those who dont know, we have a facebook group called "Friends of the Steamship J.B. Ford" as well as a Facebook page for the Great Lakes Steamship Society, all are welcome to join and follow our progress as it is regularly updated on both pages.
